For New and Returning Camp Families

We know camp prep comes with questions — especially if it’s your child’s first week with Muskoka Wake.
This page is your go-to guide for what to bring, what to expect, where camp runs, and how to choose the right program.

What to Bring

Please send campers with a refillable water bottle, towel, sunscreen, a nut-free snack, and a backpack to keep everything together.

Safety Gear Included

Premium life jackets, wetsuits, and helmets are available for every camper, every session. Campers are welcome to bring their own gear if preferred.

What to Wear

A swimsuit or comfortable athletic clothing works best, along with easy layers like a hoodie, sweater, or light rain jacket for cooler mornings and changing weather.

Boards & Equipment Included

We provide the boards, bindings, and on-water equipment campers need for the week, so there’s no need to bring your own gear unless they have a board they already love riding.

FAQ

None. Muskoka Wake camp is all levels. Teen Camp is intermediate to advanced for ages 12–16.

Camps range from 6-8 campers. Maximum of 8 allows more ride time and better coaching.

• Well-fitting lifejacket (encouraged to bring your own — notify office in advance to borrow one)

• Refillable water bottle

• Towel

• Sweater or raincoat for cooler/damp days

• Sunscreen

• Snack (granola bars provided — send additional nut-free snacks if needed)

• Backpack to store belongings

All equipment provided. Full list on Parents Corner.

Campers are welcome to bring their own board only if space allows. Please notify your instructor in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Do not send multiple boards or large equipment bags — boat space is limited. We provide a full selection of premium boards suited to all skill levels.

Yes. Muskoka Wake camps are nut-free. Please ensure all snacks and lunches sent with your child are free of nuts and nut products. We take allergies seriously and appreciate your cooperation in keeping all campers safe.

Camp runs in light rain and only pauses or cancels when conditions exceed the safety thresholds required for on-water programming. We monitor multiple weather sources throughout the day and evening.

Evening before: If conditions are uncertain, you’ll receive an email by end of evening letting you know we’re monitoring and will confirm in the morning.

Morning of: A final GO / NO GO decision is communicated by 7:30 AM.

If Muskoka Wake cancels a session due to weather, a $50 credit per participant is applied to your account, valid toward any Muskoka Wake service in the 2026 season.

We understand plans change. Refunds are provided only for extenuating circumstances. If you can no longer attend your session, a transferable credit will be applied to your account for use toward any Muskoka Wake service in the 2026 season.

  • More than 30 days before session: 75% transferable credit
  • 15–30 days before session: 50% transferable credit
  • Within 14 days of session: Non-refundable
  • Early Bird sessions: Non-refundable. Cancellations made with more than 30 days’ notice receive a 50% transferable credit for use in the 2026 season.
  • Session transfers: $25 transfer fee applies

If you completed registration through our booking platform, your waiver is already on file. If not, please contact the office before camp begins.
