Every Muskoka Wake camp runs with 6-8 campers.
Not 10. Not 12.
Six to eight – every week, every location, every summer.
That number isn’t about logistics. It’s about what kind of week your child actually has.
Because there’s a big difference between a camp where kids try wakesurfing and one where they actually
learn it, build confidence, and want to come back next year.
What 6-8 campers actually means on the water
At that group size, instructors know every camper – quickly.
By Monday pickup, they already know who got up for the first time, who’s starting to turn, and who just
needs one more push to stay on the wave.
That only happens when the group is small.
With bigger groups, the day becomes rotation-based. With 6-8, it becomes coaching-based.
And that’s where the progress comes from.
A typical camp week
Drop-off is 8:45. Camp starts at 9:00.
From there, the week is simple – and it works.
Monday to Thursday is time on the boat. Real reps. Real progression.
Campers ride behind brand new 2026 MasterCraft and Malibu wakesurf boats, with two instructors on
board at all times – one driving, one coaching.
Kids aren’t just getting pulled around. They’re learning how to stand, ride, turn, and improve – step by step.
Friday changes the pace.
Wake Camp: Flyboard Day.
Teen Camp: E-Foil Day.
It’s the reset at the end of the week – something different, something high-energy, and usually the part kids
talk about all the way home.
Full-day vs half-day
Most families start with Muskoka Wake Camp, which is the half-day option for first-timers and returning
campers, or Teen Camp, which is the half-day option for ages 12-16 and is more coaching-focused.
If your child wants more time on the water, Ultimate Wake Camp runs 8:30 to 3:30 and includes time on
the boat plus cable park time at Bush’s Watersports Park.
More reps. More progression. More confidence.

The instructors behind the week
Muskoka Wake runs with a team of 35 certified instructors, all trained and certified with NCCP Level 1,
Bronze Cross, and CPR.
Before the season starts, the entire team goes through a six-day pre-season training program together.
Many have been with us for 5+ summers.
That continuity matters.
Kids come back and ask for the same instructors by name. And instructors remember them.
That’s not something you get at most camps.
What kids actually leave with
Parents usually sign up for the activity.
What kids leave with is more than that.
Confidence – getting up on the board changes something.
Friendships – small groups mean real connections.
Progression – not just trying, actually improving.
It’s why families rebook.
And why a lot of weeks fill up earlier than expected.
Choosing the right camp
There are four options:
- Muskoka Wake Camp – half-day, all levels.
- Teen Camp – half-day, intermediate+.
- Ultimate Wake Camp – full-day, more progression.
- Private Camp – your group, your schedule.
All run across 8 locations in Muskoka throughout the summer.
Why we keep it at 8
We could run bigger groups.
It would be easier. It would be more efficient.
But it wouldn’t deliver the same week.
6-8 campers means more time on the water, more coaching, more confidence, and a better experience
overall.
And that’s the whole point.

Ready to book your week?
Most July and August sessions fill faster than people expect – especially for returning campers.
If you have a specific week in mind, it’s worth locking it in early.
